I was able to visit one of our members in the hospital after having surgery yesterday. Honestly, the pastor during the visit wasn’t me but the patient. I was introduced to her nurses, whom she knew by name. Then, after about ten minutes, another patient came strolling in that just had surgery accompanied by her mom and dad. Apparently the “pastor” patient had befriended this girl and was looking out for her. I was blessed with the opportunity to pray for both patients at the same time and to see the recovering “pastor” making a difference in the world around her, even though she was recovering from surgery. Fascinating to see God at work in the lives of great people.
