I find leading leaders to be one of the more challenging tasks I have ever experienced. From the first time I lead a handful of youth leaders, I realized it’s a lot easier to simply be in a position and do it than it is to lead leaders. Everyone has their own ideas, agendas, frustrations, and opinions. The most obvious and difficult task is to get everyone on the same page heading in the same direction. For sure, you have to be called to do this. It’s not for the faint at heart or the weak kneed or the spineless. Sometimes it just flat out isn’t fun. But today, I find great comfort in this verse:
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
