I spoke on conflict resolution today with a specific focus on marriage. It’s really a topic most people don’t want to talk about. Conflict resolution involves a total commitment to resolving an issue no matter who is determined to be responsible for what share of the conflict.

In my life, I find I have grown more through conflict than peace. Conflict is that point in which two or more agendas or plans or ideas or wants or needs clash. As I was talking, I could see people wanting to point out to their spouses or family or friends how much they needed to hear it. Then, you could sense a complete change in them as they realized their own need to work on the issues.

This marriage series should be good. I think our married couples will hopefully be talking about this very important aspect of relationships.
