Citibank and Mortgages

Since the government has bailed out Citibank and the housing mortgages, does that mean my credit cards are paid off and my mortgage is free and clear? I know it’s not. But come on. We can’t really be serious here. If I owned a business and it failed, I would never expect the government to bail me out. Why would we do that with Citibank or the auto makers or the mortgage business. If we have that much stinking money available for bailouts, why don’t we do something more creative that setting it on fire and warming our hands just for a short period of time.
