Easter is the superbowl for the church. It’s the big day. We pull out all the stops. We expect the biggest crowd, biggest number of first time guests, biggest batch of kids. All that. It’s the big one. And rightfully so. It’s the day we celebrate the one fact, the one truth, the one moment where we recognized Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Elvis sang a song – Why can’t every day be like Christmas? I say, why can’t every day be like Easter. I have been given so much that sometimes I forget or neglect the greatest give of salvation.
